Yes the story of how Kryta freed itself from the White Mantle and told how the former Royal Family took back power which it still has in GW2 isn't important at all. Sarcasm, if you didn't know.

But to the idea /unsigned. They aren't hard to get to make them worthy to be put in the HOM. Someone who stockpiled war supplies and traded them in for Metals could have very easily walk away with almost half the weapons in one go.

/signed vigorously and emphatically!

I went through all the trouble of following all the clues, rezoning countless times for the chance to see random scenes, going through annoying quests and generally being a vital part of a historically event of extreme importance in regards to GW2 and I CAN'T put the spoils of war in my HOM!? Real nice....

They are too easy to get compared to the destroyer and torment ones.

I won't mind, though.

Destroyer weapons aren't remotely difficult to get, and loltorment, an afternoon of doa glaiveway can get one of those, so difficulty in this situation isn't a factor.

Actually, considering you can buy Onyx and Diamonds from the Rare Material Trader... Destroyer are easier to get. You can buy an Armbrace also. Everything can be bought, and I'm certain Destroyer weapons are the cheapest.

"Allow placement of X weapons/weapon set into the HoM" suggestions are all getting a /notsigned from me until further info comes out on the rewards that we are currently set up to get. Adding more weapons/weapon sets will have a different influence on what kind of rewards we may get, or how easy those rewards may be to get, depending on how they are to be distributed or obtained, and I can't make a clear judgment one way or the other until I know how it is.

^this. and after the "rebalance" to the courier falken runs, they are actually almost harder to get because you have to rely on getting them from daily bounties after your first batch.

Once you finish WiK, Falken goes 'bye-bye', and wanted bounties become the only source.

this. I loathe the Destroyer and Tormented Weapons. I do like the Oppressor Weapons though and the Deldrimor. I also like the Celestial and Zodiac weapons and I'd like the ability to craft those at the end of Factions and put them into my HoM.

destroyer weapons blow, and tormented weapons mostly blow.
These take more effort to get than destroyer weapons (complete eotn and a chain of quests that nimrods in town are still confused about how to start), just a little less cash. Not to mention its a set that finally looks good for more of the options than not.

Its a set I don't want to just dump on heroes! And wasn't that stupid monument supposed to be my weapons?

Tormented weapons and destroyer weapons werent dumb when they first came out. Im sure every single one of you wanted them. Elemental swords werent dumb when they first came out. Im sure every single one of you wanted them. Colossal swords werent dumb when they first came out. Im sure every single one of you wanted them.

Do you get the picture?

These will fall into the same category sooner or later. All it will take is time.

Not saying this is a bad idea at all though. More stuff to add to HoM wooo. Thats just to address all the complaints about how bad tormented and destroyer weapons are.

And with a big, freaking stamp!

Screw everyone who rejects it! Having holy like weapons is awesome to the max!!! It'll give us more options aside from the disfigured stuff we have to choose aka tormented/destroyer.

well I don't like the new skins myself.. doesn't matter to me either way =]

have the tormented set in the hom done and I'm hoping we'll find out what the hom is all about so we know if it's worth getting certain minis or statues

i've seen some nice weapons amongst the new oppressor ones, way better than a lot of tormented and destroyers ones, imo.

This. People will eventually get bored or find their supercool weapon skins are being used by 80% of guildwars. Then it'll be hero fodder.

I already have a complete set of Destroyer & Tormented that only my Ele & Ele's Heroes can use. I dont need a third or fourth set of 11 weapons laying around that only one character & its heroes can use.

If once they were customized they could be used on ANY character on my account (or at least any hero on my account) then Id have a different opinion.

Again
